Getting Pitch-Ready

Venprendedoras Foundation, Inc.
Miami, Florida

Empowering immigrant women entrepreneurs of all ages by offering opportunities for cross-generational learning and collaboration

Venprendedoras is a Miami-based nonprofit that empowers immigrant woman entrepreneurs of all ages by providing them with the visibility, connections and support they need to thrive. Getting Pitch-Ready will provide 12 female entrepreneurs with the training, networking and confidence they need to pitch and secure funding for their initiatives. This bilingual, cogenerational initiative will tap the skills, enthusiasm and self-esteem of younger entrepreneurs, and the guidance, resilience and experience of older ones. Cross-generational learning will be pivotal as, in some cases, it’s the younger, bold individuals who teach the older ones to be daring.
