DENISE WEBB

Senior Fellow

Denise Webb, a Biology for Wildlife Conservation sophomore at Berry College, is a Senior Youth Staff member at the Partnership for Southern Equity, a Youth Ambassador for ATL’s Year of the Youth, and a Bonner Scholar. She has been able to establish these roles through years of community engagement.

Since the age of 14, Denise has been working in her community on grassroots efforts and encouraging policy change. She is an ardent advocate for youth power, an integral part of progressing in a forward and equitable direction. 

When she joined the United Way of Atlanta Brighter Futures Youth Leadership Council in high school, Denise learned about the effects of unreliable resources on youth of color and how it impacts their education. This made her realize that many issues can only be brought to light by those who experience them. Youth.

In 2023, she co-authored a book, WHY AREN’T WE DOING THIS! Collaborating with Minors in Major Ways, with Wendy Lesko. She is known for her energy, dedication to learning and activism.
