An 11th-grade student based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Adele Ryono serves on the San Mateo County Commission on Aging and Youth Commission, where she has developed school- and library-based initiatives to reduce social isolation through intergenerational engagement. As the founder of reGenerations, a nonprofit oral history program, she leads national workshops that empower youth to record older adults’ stories and explore how perspectives evolve across generations. Adele is committed to building connected, age-inclusive communities through intergenerational dialogue and applied research.
