Carly Roman-Woo, PhD (she/her), is a gerontologist who builds bridges across generations to advance equity, dignity, and connection as we age. She currently serves as a program officer at Archstone Foundation, where she leads initiatives to strengthen community infrastructure, partnerships, and civic engagement so older adults can thrive. Carly’s passion for intergenerational connections began with her leadership with GlamourGals and continued through her doctoral research at the University of Southern California, where she focused on how intergenerational relationships enhance health, well-being, and generativity in later life, with support from the National Science Foundation.
