Heather Rieman is a national education and youth policy leader with more than two decades of experience advancing opportunity through federal policy, advocacy, and social innovation. She most recently served as Advocacy Director at America Forward, where she led cross-sector initiatives and national advocacy strategies to improve outcomes for youth, and previously held senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Education, AmeriCorps, and The Education Trust. Earlier in her career, she co-founded Critical Exposure, a nonprofit that empowers youth to create change through storytelling and advocacy.
