Senior Director of Innovation

Janet Oh is Senior Director of Innovation at CoGenerate. Janet has been working in the Bay Area nonprofit sector for the last 15 years. She started her career connecting older adults as mentors and tutors to youth as director of Experience Corps Bay Area. It was through this powerful program that she witnessed the magic that happens when generations come together. She also saw an alternate perspective on aging – where experience and wisdom were valued and celebrated. Janet was honored as a 2018 Next Avenue Influencer in Aging for her work launching the Gen2Gen Encore Prize.

Beyond her work with CoGenerate, she consults with local foundations bringing resources to empower youth and bridge the opportunity gap for low-income students. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a major in Sociology and a minor in Dance. Janet is also a student and teacher of yoga.
