With more than 24 years of experience in writing, communications, and marketing in the field of aging services, LaPorte leverages her skills to foster positive age beliefs and reframe society’s perspectives about age and aging. Since obtaining her MA in Management of Aging Services in 2014, she has sought to dismantle age bias through artistic and creative endeavors. LaPorte co-founded Art Against Ageism, a nonprofit organization that uses art and creativity to tackle ageism, in 2021.
