Rene Mallia Weiss-Cruz comes with a B.A. in ethnomusicology and economics, and M.Ed. in educational program leadership. At the intersection of this academic background, Rene currently manages the Heart of LA Eisner Intergenerational Program, which connects musicians across generations and brings free community concerts throughout Los Angeles. As an avid cyclist, Rene also makes a point of building meaningful intergenerational relationships on their bike.
