Taking Cogenerational Co-Leadership to the Next Level

We’re excited to announce the new co-chairs of our board, plus three new board members

By | Mar 18, 2026

We’re taking cogenerational co-leadership to the next level. Meet the new co-chairs of our board of directors: David Hsu and Raymond A. Jetson. Both have served on the board for years.

We are so grateful to outgoing Board Chair Susan Gianinno, who led our transition from Encore.org to CoGenerate, and from one CEO to two.

At the time we became co-CEOs, Susan wrote, “Given our increasing focus on the intergenerational opportunity, we’re thrilled to announce an approach that rests on a cross-generational partnership. It feels so important to walk the talk, practicing cogeneration as we support others who are reaching across generational divides to change the world.”

And so it is now with the co-chairs of our board. Separated by nearly 30 years in age, from different cultures and career paths, David and Ray are respected thought leaders, believers in bridging divides of all kinds, and champions of cogeneration. We’re so glad that they’re taking the reins together.

At the same time, we added three new board members — all dazzling leaders.

We couldn’t be more grateful to have this wise, accomplished, diverse group of leaders and advisors as our partners, as we work to change the narrative from generations apart to generations together.
